Ceramic coating for a new car
Just picked up your car? It’s the best time to protect it: the paint hasn’t been through anything yet.
- New doesn’t mean flawless. Some cars arrive with fine marks from transport or dealership washing. The included gloss polish brings back the gloss and addresses very light imperfections. If the car has more noticeable marks, we send you photos after the inspection and offer correction as an option.
- Before the first winter is ideal: salt and calcium stick less and wash off more easily.
- Protecting new paint costs less than correcting it later: no correction to pay for if it doesn’t need it.
- Applied by a GYEON Certified Detailer, and eligible for GYEON’s manufacturer warranty, subject to its terms.

Every ceramic coating already includes a gloss polish. After the wash and decontamination, we inspect the paint under the studio lights and send you photos of what we find.
Your ceramic coating is complete either way, even without extra correction. Nothing is done or charged without your approval.

GYEON reserves its Q² Infinite range for detailers it has trained and certified. It isn’t sold to the public, and only an installation by a GYEON Certified Detailer can be registered under GYEON’s manufacturer warranty program.

Ceramic doesn’t stop scratches or rock chips; for chips you need PPF. It doesn’t hide defects: it protects the paint as it is, which is why we polish first. It doesn’t replace washing, it makes it easier. And to perform at its best, it needs hand washing, a little upkeep with the WetCoat we provide and a night at the studio to cure.

For ceramic protection, 1 or 2 layers, you drop the car off in the morning and pick it up the next day: the work takes a day, then the coating cures overnight in our climate-controlled studio. If you approve paint correction after the inspection, the work can take an extra day; we tell you when we send the photos. After that, avoid soap and detergents for 14 days.
PPF is a clear film that protects against rock chips. Ceramic doesn’t stop chips; it protects the paint from salt, contaminants and the elements, and makes washing easier. The two work together: a ceramic coating can go on top of PPF.
Yes, but they’re assessed separately from our two packages, which include a gloss polish on painted surfaces. PPF and matte or satin finishes need a coating suited to that surface and their own preparation, and a matte or satin finish is never polished, since that would add shine. GYEON makes dedicated coatings for these surfaces. We confirm the approach and price with you before we apply anything.
No, we do it at our Terrebonne studio. Application and curing need a clean, climate-controlled space, and the car has to stay overnight. Our mobile service is still available for interior and exterior detailing.
